I don't often listen to BBC Radio Sussex anymore, but this morning I turned the dial and there it was and I remembered John. So I looked him up on the web to see what he was up to and was really shocked by the news. I am a professional writer myself and I was in my early 30s when I used to listen to him on the radio. I was always greatly impressed by his depth of knowledge, humour and experience. He seemed like a man who had lived life and new how to live life. He felt like a man you could aspire to be and I am very sorry that he has gone and send my best wishes to his family. Regards Daniel
